Collarless shirt in black satin-back crêpe with round neckline bound in self fabric on a button-thru front fastened with mother-of-pearl buttons underneath a narrow fly placket. Front has inset tuxedo style bib edged in black scalloped ribbon lace. Satin body with ribbon lace running from shoulder to hem. Side seams are brought forward open into vents. Long inset semi-sheer georgette sleeves are pleated into two button satin cuffs. Reverse has yoke, centre pleat and bands of ribbon lace at the side.
