Short boxy fit shirt-jacket in ivory semi-sheer cotton and silk check with a stand collar in plain cotton. Front is fastened with mother-of-pearl buttons on a semi-concealed plain cotton placket. Fronts have is constructed in a patchwork of pleated panels in self- fabric and plain cotton which open above the waist to create a pleated hem. Full inset sleeves are pleated into single button cotton cuffs. Reverse has pleated panels using the same technique as the front opening into a semi-sheer all-round pleated hem.
