We are delighted to announce that Bolshoi soloist Ana Turazashvili has collaborated with us on a special campaign as part of our #ArtistsatHIGH project.
Ana is portrayed in key pieces from the HIGH Spring Summer 2020 collection in a series of images taken by the Russian photographer Sasha Gusov.
These pictures illustrate HIGH's love of the arts and for dance in particular, an art form centered around the human body and the way it moves, the appreciation of which is a vital part of our work.
This campaign is part of an ongoing program of collaboration with world-class artists operating at the highest levels of their chosen art form. Our engagement with artists and artisans working in all manner and media is a direct reflection of HIGH’s DNA as a design company committed to making clothes for creative professionals.
Russian photographer Sasha Gusov has lived in London since 1989 and has gained international recognition with his book "The Bolshoi”. His latest project was "Michelangelo", a photographic diary of the filming of the film "The Sin" made in collaboration with the director Andrei Konchalovsky.
Although Ana Turazashvili started dancing at the comparatively late age of nine, she was quickly accepted into the state dance school in Tbilisi and afterwards, the Bolshoi State Academy in Moscow. In 2009 she became a member of the Bolshoi Ballet, where she currently performs as a soloist. Ana also collaborates with artists, photographers and filmmakers in projects that resonate with her style and status.
